Welcome Chris Olsen-Phillips (He/Him), Associate Director of UW IMPACT!
We are excited to announce the hire of Chris Olsen-Phillips as the new Associate Director of UW IMPACT. Chris is deeply committed to civic engagement and legislative advocacy on behalf of higher education in the state of Washington. Prior to accepting the Associate Director position, Chris served as the Assistant Director of the University of Washington Master’s in Education Policy Program. In addition, he has worked as a project manager and education policy analyst, leading the creation of tools and advocacy efforts to support early learning, k-12, and higher education at the state level. Before beginning his career in the policy workforce, Chris worked as a pre-K teacher and tutor for children with autism. Chris holds a master’s degree in Education Policy from the University of Washington and a B.A. in English from Tufts University. Welcome aboard Chris!
