State Lawmakers Invest in UW | 2021-23 Final Budget
The Washington State legislature released their final two-year state operating budget after an exceptional remote legislative session, and the news is good for higher education. We did it. Our state lawmakers passed a budget that includes the most significant investment in higher education in more than a decade. In this biennium alone, the new Workforce Education Investment Fund will generate $376 million in revenue for post-secondary education and training. Wow!
