The new normal State public university students will bear bigger share of costs
Christopher Thomas was a high school dropout. Last spring he graduated cum laude from University of Washington Tacoma. Now he’s working on a master’s degree with the goal of eventually earning a doctorate and becoming a professor.
As a child, Meghan Howey hung out on the UW Tacoma campus, where her mom was involved in community service projects. Today, Meghan is pursuing a master’s degree and recently won an award for her own community service work.
For almost 150 years, the University of Washington has helped to shape the lives of Washingtonians like Christopher and Meghan. We’re a public university and deeply proud of it.
