State Budget Negotiations: Bring it Home for UW

Last week we called on you to speak up for capital investments, and Huskies like you sent hundreds of emails in support of priorities such as the renovation of Anderson Hall and Phase 2 of the wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ Intellectual House. Thank you!

Now it’s time to turn our focus to state funding for academic programs, UW hospitals, compensation, student support services, and other functions that keep the UW going. The final weeks of the legislative session are a critical time to make our voices heard and to ask your lawmakers to keep the “public” in public higher education.

Then – take action by sending an email to your elected officials and asking them to support UW students, patients, staff, and faculty.
