Husky Caucus Day 2023
Today is Husky Caucus Day! The UW Impact team, along with key supporters of the University, are advocating for higher education investments and recognizing the 31 UW alumni currently serving in our State Legislature. Help us “paint Olympia purple” (even virtually!) by writing to your elected officials today- it takes less than a minute.
UW volunteers are reminding legislators of these funding priorities:
- Investments in quality and excellence (fair compensation for faculty and staff, support for UW Medicine)
- Investments in access and affordability (student support services on all 3 campuses
- Investments in high-demand degrees (STEM expansion on all 3 campuses)
