A great way to learn about advocacy and the legislative process.  This brief training will cover the basics of the legislative process and provide practical tips for communicating with lawmakers.  We will also walk through what to expect in a fifteen minute appointment with a legislator and overview UW alumni priorities for the upcoming session.  This can be a great way to prepare for the session for both new and experienced advocates.  We will also provide time for advocates to connect, share tips and experiences and practice their pitch in small groups.  The training is open to all UW Impact advocates.  Reach out to us at info@uwimpact.org if you would like to attend.
