Join us! Advocacy Camp

The election is over, but the real work has yet to get started. Time to channel those post-election emotions into action as Washington State heads into an important budget session beginning January 9. Whether you’re worried about tuition, passionate about transportation or inspired by social justice issues, taking action gives you the power to effect change, and we can help you get there.

UW Impact, the United Way of King County & the Seattle Chamber’s Young Professionals Network present an evening of Advocacy Camp. You’ll learn how advocacy works, skills to influence others and resources on the issues you care about. You can make connections with like-minded young professionals and talk to state lawmakers and political gurus who will share tips on making a difference.

Take an active role in your democracy and stand up for the issues that mean the most to you. You have a say in your future, and we have the tools to get your voice heard.
